WILLIAM ARAQUE
DIRECTOR
William has more than 30 years experience in negligence based claims specifically in areas of personal injuries, professional indemnity, negligence, complex claims and general commercial litigation.
William has advised insurers, self-insured clients and government insurance managers on issues of liability, indemnity and recovery as well as acted for the ordinary injured man in the street resulting from motor vehicle accidents, workplace accidents, dog bite incidents and public liability claims (slipping and falling in public places).
He also has considerable experience defending insured clients on issues of liability and negligence claims and has worked closely with insurers, self-insurers, insured clients, medical practitioners, health professionals and hospitals (both public and private).
He enjoys spending time and travelling with his wife, son and daughter, as well as watching rugby, cricket, golf and AFL.
He has two Bachelor of Law degrees, a Masters of Law and obtained two certificates of qualification in Arbitration and Corporate Law.
KARL ELS
DIRECTOR
Karl has been in practice for more than 30 years and has gained extensive expertise and experience in all aspects of personal injury law. He has dealt with many complex matters arising from motor vehicle accidents, professional negligence, public liability and workers’ compensation claims, achieving the best possible results for his clients.
He has a Bachelor of Law degree, a postgraduate LLB and has also attained an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business.
In his spare time he is an avid sailor and also enjoys golf, fishing and mountain biking.
DANIEL ELS
SENIOR ASSOCIATE
Daniel joined the team in January 2020 after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Laws and Commerce (Economics). He has recently been admitted as a Lawyer in the Supreme Court and is looking to build his career in personal injury.
Daniel seeks to provide a client-focused service and aims at delivering the best outcomes for clients in their claims. He is approachable, understanding and will fight to protect your interests.
He enjoys running, hockey and bouldering. On the weekends you will find him at the footy or in one of Perth’s many cafes.
LACHLAN CASEY
ASSOCIATE
Lachlan completed a Bachelor of Laws at Murdoch University and was admitted as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of Western Australia in October 2021. Lachlan gained experience working at a national personal injury firm before joining the team at A&E Legal in May 2022.
Lachlan assists clients with motor vehicle accident, workers’ compensation, public liability, medical negligence, and criminal injuries compensation claims. Lachlan takes pride in assisting clients navigate their claims and ensuring that their legal rights are protected.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, tennis and guitar.
DANIEL KLOPPER
LAWYER
Daniel completed a Juris Doctor at the University of Western Australia in July 2025, having previously obtained a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Business Law in July 2022.
Daniel has been admitted as a Lawyer to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and has been working at A&E Legal since June 2025, and assists in wide variety of different areas, including motor vehicle accident, workers compensation, public liability, medical negligence, and criminal injuries compensation claims.
Daniel is committed to guiding clients through the legal process and ensuring that the best possible outcome is achieved. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys working on various creative and technical projects, including programming and digital design.
ELLIE NAGLE
LAW CLERK
Ellie joined the team in May 2025 as an Intern and has since progressed into her role as a Law Clerk. She is in her final year of a Bachelor of Laws and is gaining practical experience assisting our lawyers in Motor Vehicle Accident, Workers Compensation, Public Liability and Criminal Injuries Compensation claims.
Ellie has a strong interest in personal injury law and is committed to developing her knowledge while maintaining a compassionate yet professional approach to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, taking her dog to the beach and spending time with family and friends.
ELZERIE DELPORT
ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
Elzeri (Elle) joined the team in August 2025 and is the firm’s Legal Administrative Assistant, managing the day-to-day operations of the office.
Her responsibilities include providing administrative and legal support to the lawyers, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and handling correspondence with clients and other legal and medical professionals. With a degree in Agricultural Sciences and currently studying a Bachelor of Laws at Edith Cowan University, she is working towards a career in law, bringing a unique and diverse perspective to her role.
She has a keen interest in personal injury law and is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for the firm’s clients.
Outside of work, she enjoys camping, swimming, and spending quality time with family and friends.”
